About this product

Robin on a Twig Christmas Tree Decoration  – Sterling Silver Hallmarked

What better way to celebrate Christmas than with your own special sterling silver Christmas tree decoration that will adorn your tree year after year as a special keepsake.

Each decoration is handmade by Sam in her studio using sterling silver. The circle twig has been cast into sterling silver from a holly twig found in my local wildlife park by my daughter and formed into a circle, sitting gently upon it is a solid hand cast sterling silver robin.

The twig circle is highly detailed showing off the beauty of the natural holly branch and each twig decoration may differ slightly to those shown depending on which twig I use, please see photos as an example of various twigs used.

Each decoration weighs approx 17-19g dependent on the twig used and is approx 44cm in size.

These decorations have a quality weight to them but are light weight enough to hang perfectly on the tree without pulling on the branches.

Only a limited number of these will be made this year so once they’re gone they’re gone, so grab a little Robin before he flies off out of 2021.

The Robin is a wonderful little bird who is synonymous with Christmas and has both spiritual and symbolic meaning attached to them.

In the 1880s Victorian postmen were nicknamed “robins” after the familiar red-breasted bird because of their red uniforms and at Christmas, people eagerly awaited the arrival of cards from loved ones far and wide – delivered by their own local “robins.”

This decoration will arrive gift boxed in a Kysam branded jewellery box, tied with ribbon and Hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
